![]() ![]() If templates are missing from Visual Studio, something’s probably gone wrong with your cache. The cache folders contain the unpacked versions. The two templates folders contain the zipped up sources for the item templates you use inside Visual Studio. If you have a look inside your VS installation folder \Common7\IDE\, you’ll see these folders: I still had the “Add Class” option in the dropdown but no “Class” option when I got into the “Add New Item” dialogue. ![]() So, I was trying to add a new class to a project in Visual Studio and the template for it seemed to have disappeared. ![]()
